About the project

An opportunity to live in the company of art and history.

Edelweiß as a symbol

The symbol and logo of the Vídeňská 11 project is edelweiß also known as Alpine spurge, the national flower of Austria. It consists of the words edel (noble) and weiß (white). As such, it alludes to the historical charm of the old neo-baroque building as well as its modern, clean design.

Building from 1899

Václav Wittner, a prominent architect and constructor of Olomouc was responsible for the development of Vídeňská 11. During his lifetime Wittner built dozens of buildings throughout Moravia, including three churches and a count's castle. In Olomouc, he was responsible for the building of a number of schools, industrial villas and apartment buildings. At that time, Vídeňská 11 was one of the first apartment buildings built between the historical centre and the city park in the area of the demolished town walls.

The building stands on a corner plot and is perfectly recognizable thanks to its distinctive tower and elaborately decorated facades.

Delicate reconstruction

The aim of the reconstruction was to recover the building's historical charm and to do so in the most tasteful way possible. The result is a timeless building with real character that will stand the test of time.

Impressive architecture

The building and its spacious, impressively designed apartments are the work of the leading architectural studio SMLXL in cooperation with architect Ing.arch. Jan Dohnal, who specialises in reconstruction of historical buildings. The Prague studio SMLXL is characterized by its clear vision and practical solutions combined with novel design. Despite its extensive portfolio and countless successful projects, the studio defines itself as "small big". In keeping with this attitude, the architects at SMLXL treat each design as their own. Each design is thus thought out and refined down to the last detail in order to fully satisfy the needs of every client.

Elegant design

The interior design of Vídeňská 11 is the product of a selection of exclusive brands that are considered to be at the cutting edge of European design. From the iconic bathrooms from the German brand Gessi, to the architectural lighting from the Belgian brand Modular, to handcrafted flooring by Czech craftsmen from Valen & Masar in collaboration with Italian experts from Foglie d'Oro, every aspect of the residence is a prime example of world-class quality.

Real sustainability

The project is conceived as a return to history and art, to a time when things lasted for decades and therefore did not have to be constantly replaced. The apartments at Vídeňská 11 are designed to be fully functional and still stylish even in 10 or 20 years. This concept embodies true sustainability for us.

Family business

The project has been prepared for you by Siroky Real Estate, a family company that prides itself on a personal and professional approach to clients. The company focuses mainly on historic houses in attractive locations, which are transformed into premium housing through complex refurbishments thanks to the company's high standards.

"Our goal is to give forgotten buildings their soul and life back. I believe we have really managed to do that with Vídeňská 11. We have preserved its historic charm whilst at the same time enriching it with the energy of modern life."
